Callbacks!
Congratulations! We absolutely loved your audition and are excited to hear you sing again. Here is all the information you'll need for your callback.
WARM-UPS:
Something Extra will run you through some warm-ups and belting exercises to better understand your range and tone, as well as to prepare you for the rest of the callback.
BLENDING EXERCISE:
Just like before, you'll use the sheet music attached below, as well as the audio clips of each part, to learn the voice part of our arrangement of "Jealous" that is indicated on your callback card. Three members of Something Extra will sing through this excerpt with you as well.
Jealous: Measures 0 to 16
SOLO OF YOUR CHOICE:
This is your time to shine! Sing anything that will comfortably show off your voice, taking into consideration the feedback provided on your callback card. The length of your solo should be approximately one minute.
SOLO OF OUR CHOICE:
Prepare a solo from Something Extra's repertoire, also designated on your callback card. You will sing an excerpt of this solo while Something Extra backs you up! Below are time stamps for each solo option referring to our albums, Sundaes, Monumental, and Cloud Nine, which are available on Spotify and you should use to prepare.
